Refractory Recycling has been at the core of our business for over 40 years. We take care of your spent refractories in order to provide maximum recycling at minimal costs, conscious of ever-increasing health, safety and environmental constraints. With our specialist teams we can turn the waste into homogenous products for re-use in new refractory products. Through our own subsidiaries, and supported by our local partners, we currently have global dealings with the emphasis in the Western hemisphere, Middle East, India and Southern Africa.
Introduction on Refractory Recycling
Refractory materials are mainly used in industrial furnaces, kilns, and ladles of primary industries like steel works and aluminium smelters.
Refractory materials, like all other industrial minerals, have a limited lifetime, and at the end of their lifespan, furnaces, kilns, and ladles have to be demolished and rebuilt. For the demolished spent refractories, recycling becomes an option instead of to landfills.
WHAT WE DO
We service Refractory Users (steel, aluminium) as well as the Refractory Producers (bricks, mortars, cement). Our advanced knowledge of picking spent refractories, as well as our well-established network of end users of secondary raw materials, is a well-known factor for why we are trusted partners with long-term relationships within the steelworks, aluminium smelters, and non-metallurgical industries, as well as the refractory industry.
OUR MARKET
We are a trustworthy supplier of secondary refractory materials as a sustainable alternative for virgin materials. Preserving natural resources, our work is guided by the cradle to cradle principle. By partnering with our customers, we have become a stable associate for their refractory waste and a trustworthy supplier of secondary refractory materials to the end users.
